Mrs. Kristen Janda & her amazing side-kick, Katherine, have done it again with the 2024 L/N Elementary Christmas Program! Thank you all for coming! The kids did a fantastic job.
On November 22nd, English 9 wrapped up Unit 3, Crime Scenes, by visiting the Grand Island Central Community College's Hornady Crime House. Students learned how to take fingerprints and process crime scenes at the crime house. Watch out as several of them are really good at pulling fingerprints off of items!
Students also toured the campus.

One Act is getting ready to put on a stellar performance for everyone this Sunday, 12/1, at 7:00 p.m. at the high school! Admission is free and our run time is approximately 30 minutes - bring your friends and family to support these students!

The Elementary put on their own Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade! The students and teachers got creative with their balloons and had fun showing them off. We wish everyone a safe and Happy Thanksgiving!
November is Epilepsy Awareness Month. A student at Lawrence/Nelson Elementary fights with epilepsy. To shed light on him as well as others battling with this, our students wore purple or a Toy Story themed shirt today. We also had high school students come do face paint to help spread awareness!
