Last year in Entrepreneurship, we studied the 4 P’s of Marketing–Product, Price, Place, Promotion. They worked in pairs and together they had to come up with a product or service that they could sell here in school. They had to research the supplies they would need and then come up with a price that they were going to charge so they would make a profit. Finally, they had to decide on a place to sell and how they were going to promote their product. We had decided that the profit would be used for something that would benefit the school. The products they came up with to sell were: cake pops, frozen pickle juice, chocolate chip cookies, root beer floats and brownie sundaes. Combined they made a profit of $91.75. With that profit, we were able to purchase hooks for the computers outside the bathrooms and fall decorations for the entryway.
